Welcome !

Our Troop was established in 2003 and resides in the Dan Patch District of the Northern Star Council. We meet all year round every other Tuesday at St. Mark's School in Shakopee (at the corner of Scott St. and 3rd Avenue). We aim to run a boy-driven program with an active advancement program. We have monthly outings that include camping trips, biking trips, hiking trips and district camporees. We currently have 30 active boys in multiple Patrols. We camp using the Patrol system and our own Troop patrol boxes and equipment. Our Troop Committee consists of dedicated parent volunteers who believe strongly in the aims of Boy Scouting. To date over 30 Troop 619 scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Troop Planning Retreat: January 23 - 24

Posted on Jan 16 2015 - 4:22pm

It's time to begin our annual troop calendar planning. To kick things off we will be having a planning retreat at Sacajewea Retreat Center (http://youtu.be/KTbdU-4qmY0) in Lebanon Hills Dakota County Park, January 23 - 24. This is not a campout. The retreat center is a modern facility with kitchen and meeting space and will provide a relaxed and comfortable working environment. Although we have serious work to do, there will be time for relaxing and having fun. The goal of the weekend is to decide on the troop activities through March/April 2016.
