Welcome !

Our Troop was established in 2003 and resides in the Dan Patch District of the Northern Star Council. We meet all year round every other Tuesday at St. Mark's School in Shakopee (at the corner of Scott St. and 3rd Avenue). We aim to run a boy-driven program with an active advancement program. We have monthly outings that include camping trips, biking trips, hiking trips and district camporees. We currently have 40+ active boys in multiple Patrols. We camp using the Patrol system and our own Troop patrol boxes and equipment. Our Troop Committee consists of dedicated parent volunteers who believe strongly in the aims of Boy Scouting. To date over 30 Troop 619 scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Courtyard Lawn Mowing

Posted on Sep 4 2014 - 10:17pm

As a thank you for the meeting space and support they provide, the troop mows the small courtyard behind the troop room for St Mark's Church, our charter organization. We usually have a rotation list of scouts who take turns each week during the summer. Mom and dad provide the transportation and lawn mower and you provide about 30 minutes of service.

Please contact Steve Schiffman if you would be willing to help out St. Mark's and he will add you to the list.
